Wordsworth defined poetry as ''spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings.''

I have been writing prose ever since my childhood (say when I was eight years old) but I began writing poems only about three years ago when I realised one day that I could try myself at the complex and aesthetic art called poetry. However poetry I believe is much more difficult than prose and one needs to have a very strong reason to write poems.

I have written six poems but still my most favorite one is the one I wrote first. It is a totally Indian style written poem with very simple words and is inspired by a Tagore poem called flute music, one which you can see in my list of favorite poems.

I express my gratitude to the people who have been an inspiration towards my writing poems.Nature around us has enough reasons to force our penning and it is one of my earnest of desires that one day I can write something that would be as close to nature as nature itself.
I hope you enjoy whatever I've written.Any comments and suggestions towards improvement of my work are welcome and a sincere effort will be made to incorporate them in my writings.
